of the engine as it pulls a hundred cars or maybe more?

The engineer keeps watch ahead

as we go through towns we’ve never seen before.

If you see a railroad sign,

it just might be this train that comes chuggin' down the line.

We'll make a stop but not for long.

Just a short time at the depot and we're gone!

Now comin’ up ahead there is a mountain we must climb.

So hang on to your hats as up the hill we wind.

Our train is moving slower now, we’re closer to the top,

and as we’re going over, the train is almost stopped.
