I Live In A Haunted House

Of the houses on my block, I live in the oldest.

It's creepy and it's spooky, it's scary and the oldest.

But I don't mind at all.  I think it's kind of fun.

I just don't understand why my friends all turn and run!

I live in a haunted house (Yes, I do)

But what is all the fuss about? (Call Scooby Doo)

There's nothing I like more than to open up the door

to my scary haunted house.

Who cares if there's a ghost in my attic up above?

Scary howling noises are noises that I love.

Who cares if there are bats flying 'round our living room?

Who cares if there's a witch flying on my mother's broom?

CHORUS

Once I had a party. I invited all my friends.

I think they were surprised. They had fun right 'till the end.

And when we said good-bye after on last final "BOO!"

They told their parents, "Mom and Dad, we wish our house was haunted, too".

CHORUS

So if you someday move to a brand new house to live,

you'd better check for goblins or a scaring they might give.

And if you ever walk by my house in the night,

You better hurry by before a werewolf bites!

I live in a haunted house (Yes, I do)

But what is all the fuss about? (Call Scooby Doo)

There's nothing I like more than to open up the door

to my scary haunted house.
