We’re dressed in fancy clothes. Oh, we look really cool.

Our hair is all fixed up with lots of grease and gel.

We look like movie stars. Oh, we are lookin’ swell!

Before we take our pictures,to recess out we go.

when much to our surprise, the wind began to blow.

It blew like a tornado. It was swirling everywhere.

We said, "It’s picture day! Cover up your hair!"

But we were way too late. Our hair was just a mess.

It was pointing everywhere, and now we’re feeling stressed.

Alex’s hair was in a knot. Steven’s stood straight up.

Megan’s looked like a birdnest. Michelle’s looked like a duck!

Will we be a mess?

We are so upset! Everybody’s gonna laugh.

We sit down for our pictures, and then we see the flash.

The pictures get sent off to a factory

Where they all get made into a book that everyone will see!

But you’ll never guess what happened the day our pictures came.

Kids said, "What’s that hairstyle? Does it have a name?"

They said we looked so cool, and they all liked our style!

Soon everyone had hair like us, and we just had to smile.
